CAVERNS

Exploring the value of objects and art, and searching for meaning on the preconceived worth of creation.

A physical, analog, “somewhat-fungible Non-Token”, handmade  at an age where AI fabrications and imagined digital and material scarcity dominates,  this series sprang up in mockery,  a companion to it’s epoch of equaly mocking rampant inflation and unemployment...

Based upon the portuguese expression “Não vale um tostão furado” (not worth a pierced penny). Representations of similarly molded objects resembling gourd like caverns, will be “minted” through a decade.

A currency of sorts, regulated by the eye of the beholder, to support an idea of creativity wholy independent, free from financial constraints.
